How to achieve easy and effortless chic? If you ask me, my instant suggestion is to wear all black/white and a pop of red.
Red is meant to go with neutral palette (black, white, gold, silver, camel, navy blue, leopard and python if I must…), come to think of it, I think you don’t even have to pay too much attention to the color proportion, and I doubt anyone will look bad in these colors.
I have been loving the popping out colors but want to keep my way of subtle and chic, meaning that you don’t realize what you see at first sight but when looking closer, there are some worthwhile details. This YSL Rouge Pur Couture 01 certainly does the trick for me. I don’t wear it very often but every time when I do, it makes me feel different and confident.
Since the red lip itself is feminine enough, I went with the ultimate black leather biker and boyfriend jeans, paired with sock style ankle boots – perfect to show your fine ankle without revealing the muscular calf. Just a side note – I find boyfriend jeans and flare jeans (frayed hem is even better!) can go really well with the sock style ankle boots!
