The Perfect Leather Perfecto

So happy that my long-time search for THE black leather perfecto has now come to an end! Spotted this babe in Levi’s last weekend and was instantly wowed by its heavy-weighted leather, silver details and the overall cutting. Typing these words I almost feel that oh-so-good leather smell again… (yes I have a sensational thing for genuine leather, please don’t judge me)

This perfecto comes from the Made And Crafted line of Levi’s so there is a huge visible difference between this one and the normal (factory?) line leather jacket. The moment I tried it on I knew I had to bring it home, I didn’t even bother to pair it with other clothes in my head (maybe just because I had done it a million times already). The cherry on the cake? C’est fabriqué en Italie!

I have pictured myself buying / splurging on a fine leather perfecto many times because it’s such a must. Acne would be great – considering the cost per wear theory it won’t be that much to spend – Iro seems nice as well, if I save up a bit and get lucky in sales season perhaps a Balenciaga as a gift from me to me. Yes I know I am dreaming big lol but we gotta! Yet when I tried on this one I knew it didn’t have to be any of the above, screw the big names, I am perfectly fine in this cowboy which costs 1/2 of an Acne!

The only problem now is I won’t be able to wear it until the next winter that only comes in 8 months… 7 if I am lucky? But it didn’t stop me from taking it out for a ride and shooting these pictures, I’ve never been so eager for the winter to come though we just came out of one! Have you got the same feeling as I do when you get something really nice but have to wait before you actually can enjoy it?
